Cattelan Italia
Established in 1979, from an idea by Giorgio and Silvia Cattelan, focusing the business towards the export market, the company initially manufactured "marble" furnishing elements. Immediately the firm achieved very ambitious results throughout USA, Europe and the Orient. In 1982 built its first factory which has continuously been extended to its current dimensions of 20000 square meters.
In 1989 in order to satisfy the market demand, begins its production for an endless collection of dining tables, coffee tables, bookshelves, chairs and complementary furnishings combining materials like wood, crystal,leather and metal. Further to its collaboration with Architects and Disigners such as Yoshino, Plazzogna, De Longhi, Nanni, Studia Ca' Nova, Gruppo Grafite, to consolidate the tireless ambitions of Giorgio Cattelan, some of its products achieved international recognition at the various Furniture Fairs and in particular the chair "Bella" recieved an award for its design and functionality at the "NEO CON" in Chicago.
